NodeBox has a large set of external libraries such as the SVG library for importing SVG paths, the Bezier editor for drawing right inside of the application, and Core Image for doing Photoshop-like image manipulations like layers with blending modes, color changes and filters using the OS X Core Image library, which is hardware accelerated. NodeBox also supports images and text with line wrapping and users can specify fill and stroke colors using RGB, HSB or CMYK, all with alpha transparency. NodeBox not only supports simple forms such as rectangles, ovals, stars, and arrows, but also Bezier paths in general. (The java-esqueness of Processing has always put me off reaching. My goal was to expose the data science audience to a flexible tool similar to Processing, but that allows one to write in Python and use Python data libraries.

of computer programming within a visual context, Processing also has evolved into a. For PyData 2013, I put together a talk on using Nodebox OpenGL for data visualization. EMRG has been active since 2004 developing NodeBox and doing cutting-edge research in the domain of computer graphics, user experience, creativity, but also in artificial intelligence and natural language processing. But what it really comes down to is that NodeBox is Python (much easier to extend) and Processing is Java (still easier than straight Java, but a lot more code to do basic extensions).
NODEBOX PROCESSING MAC OS X
Nodebox lets users code in Python instead of Java where Nodebox comes with a lot of built-in tools such as flocking, particle systems and graphs and an easy access to all the tools available in Python. NodeBox is a Mac OS X application that lets you create generative 2D. NodeBox is developed by the Experimental Media Research Group, a cross-domain research group associated with the Sint Lucas School of arts of the Karel de Grote-Hogeschool (Antwerp, Belgium). NodeBox has better color handling (gradients) and remarkable libraries (WordNet).
NODEBOX PROCESSING PDF
NodeBox offers features such as Python programming code, export as a PDF or a QuickTime movie, create static, animated or interactive compositions using simple primitives such as rectangles and ovals, import images and vector files from Photoshop and Illustrator, play around with text paths, supports Core Image, create layered images using transformations, blend modes, alpha masks and filters and all hardware-accelerated. Nodebox uses Python as its language, and the first version of Nodebox is only available for Macs.
NODEBOX PROCESSING SOFTWARE
NodeBox is an easy-to-use, efficient, and fast node-based software application which makes it easy to do data visualizations, generative design and complex production challenges. Ive been digging around to see if there is a way to manipulate pixels or to draw pixels manually on the nodebox canvas. Nodebox is a great application that is based on Processing. NodeBox 2 is an open-source application that generates visual output based on programming code, a node-based interface or natural language (i.e.
